Hi everyone I’m just looking for some advice as I’m not sure if I’m overthinking. I was told that I have a cyst on the left side of my ovaries and last night I was in pain with cramping to the point where I couldn’t stand up properly. so I tried to use the bathroom which helped quite abit and I went to bed and I had slight dull cramps but I’m still worried as My cramps have never been that intense or painful before and I woke up this morning and I have no cramps at all and I felt dull cramps just before that went shortly after.

Cramping worries
I would defo go get checked out xx
I was so worried last night and they started to calm down after I used the bathroom and I woke up today with no cramps whatsoever but I’ve never felt pain Like it xx
This happens to me a lot, usually around ovulation. There have been times when I've been leaning against the wall doing deep breaths, unable to walk. The shock waves of pressure from just putting a foot on the ground are agonising. Going to the toilet is painful & scary, but does bring some relief after (less pressure in an inflamed area?) - the same with passing wind.
Several ladies on here recommended getting a TENS machine. I have got one now but haven't used it yet. Due on in a few days so I'll be using it for menstrual cramps.
If your cramping was that intense & then went completely, it's possible that your cyst ruptured but you'd need a scan to confirm that.
Hi Clo_xo, it could have been rapture of the cyst. Similar thing happened to me recently. But no bathroom helped. My doctor told me if it happens again to go to have ultrasound just to check what is happening. I should have done that this time around, but I thought the pain has passed and this was nothing to worry about
