Prostap bleeding months in

Hi I’ve had 5 of the monthly Prostap injections. I’ve continued during this time to have a heavy period lasting about 8 days every 3 weeks. Has anyone else continued to bleed? I can see some people have had bleeding but it seems to settle down after the second injection, mine hasn’t. I got in touch with my consultant a few weeks ago and she said it was safe to continue given I had a scan just before starting the injections. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hi! I was on Decapeptyl for 6 months and bled through. My consultant said that as I shouldn’t bleed, it wasn’t a “fair test of the drug”. I was put on Prostap and had my 2nd injection of this 2 weeks ago. So I’ve been on a GnRH analogue for 8 months now and still bleeding

I think it’s best to come off it if you aren’t seeing any benefits x
