Hi.. I have been having symptoms since April. Started with after normal period I had a severe bleed with large clots lasting 6 days and have had slight spotting between periods since then. The pain began in May, including pelvic pain, low back ache, pains in both hips and some abdominal pain like stabbing and aches. I have had some rectal bleeding and stools have been loose for a few weeks. I’m finding it very stressful and know that can make symptoms worse too. I have seen gynaecologist who did pelvic exam, ultrasound and internal ultrasound. All clear. She mentioned Endo and Ademo but wasn’t sure my symptoms fit with my pain being constant and not just around my period or ovulation. Anyone else with Endo experienced constant pain??
Thanks!

Most days, whether it’s endo, uterus, fibroids or combination, I’m not really sure at the moment. The endo has played a part and the amitriptyline I think is calming the nerve pain down.
It’ll vary for everyone.
During covid I had a CT colonoscopy to check there wasn’t anything else.
Sounds like endo, which is a whole body inflammatory disease, your GP is showing her lack of understanding, you can have pains anytime during the month, the lesions and endometriosis cells create and secrete their own oestrogen and it’s the process of your organs becoming stuck, twisted and damaged by the endo that causes the pain. Endometriosis isn’t 100% linked to our menstural cycle. The endo cells also don’t bleed like the factually incorrect medical information would have you believe.
I’d start the process of looking for a endometriosis specialist who knows how to help you. Scans can be clear, the only way to know is to have a lap with a surgeon who knows what they are looking for.
