Confirmed date

Hi, I had a phone call confirming my operation date but still not had a letter yet. I need it to show work that my last day will be next Tuesday. Any advice? I no my operation is at a different hospital to where i normally go, do I ring that hospital or my hospital? Thanks

I’d assume it would be on both systems, if it’s normally a private hospital where you are going, try there first. GP may be able to see it on the system

It’s normally nhs but being past to private.

Self certify for seven days and then ask for a back dated sick note once you get hold them x

I’d try to ring the consultant’s secretary and ask if they could email it to you. X

I called the hospital and spoke to secretary they sent me an email with the date of my surgery.
