Is the Prostap (3mthly) injection actually working?

I had my first prostap injection 4weeks ago and I don’t know if it’s working silly as it sounds! I’ve had my usual pains, a period that was heavier than it’s been for a year since I had the mirena coil and I haven’t had any side effects, eg hot flushes, mood swings.

Can it ever not work or is this the calm before the storm?

Any advice greatly appreciated!
