I was diagnosed via laparoscopy in October last year and was due to have further lap to remove the endo from bowel and bladder in April but it got delayed due to Covid. Haven’t heard anything about reschedule yet. I was told at diagnosis that I have a rectovaginal nodule that has displaced my colon. Despite this, having now gone on to Femodene, my symptoms are under control. However, I’d say for the past 3 weeks I have been struggling to go to the toilet. I really feel like I need to but then nothing, almost like I’m constipated but then when I do eventually go the stools are not hard, so I don’t think it is constipation. My brain is in overdrive and I’m wondering if the nodule could have grown and is causing some kind of blockage? Has anyone suffered with this?
Many thanks!

Apparently so, I have to take things for constipation otherwise I can’t go. Speak to GP for a prescription. Fibre can help, I’m not eating much for that to be beneficial.
I haven’t been diagnosed with this, but for years I’ve always struggled to go to the toilet. My best advice is to try Fybogel sachets. Can get them in the chemist or supermarket. (Flavoured ones are the best, plain is vile). They’re a natural laxative. I take one a day (or two if I’m bad) and they’ve been a life saver! Deffo recommend trying it, if they don’t interact with any other medications you may have! All the best x
It’s relatively cheap! It’s £3.50 in ASDA or on amazon you can buy in bulk for around £7. It may be worth a try! It’s a Hi-fibre granules and you just dissolve in water. Just have to make sure you drink plenty of water with it!
