Can you use Utrogestan as contraceptive?
I was on
Femodene
for 2 years (from 41-43) but started to have serious side effects so switched to HRT. I am now on Oestrogel pump gel and Utrogestan pill 14 days on/off which gives me a monthly bleed. I feel like a new person on HRT but I'm worried about falling pregnant (which I don't want).

hormonal birth control after laparoscopy
hello! I'm hoping for advice. I'm 25, I've been diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis and got a laparoscopy 8 days ago, where they removed endo implants from the back of the uterus. My doubt is about birth control. Now I've been prescribed to go back to Femodette again. I took femodette

Am I on the right pill?
I am currently on
Femodene
, which has 28.6 of oestrogen in it, am I correct in thinking this is the female hormone? I am really struggling on this pill at the moment with really bad mood swings / depression and bad skin.

Femodene??
She has also put me on
Femodene
birth control as I have been struggling to find a pill that works for me. She said that if this pill works it’ll be another indication of endometriosis. Has anyone else been on this pill and has it helped?

Recto-vaginal nodule
Despite this, having now gone on to
Femodene
, my symptoms are under control. However, I’d say for the past 3 weeks I have been struggling to go to the toilet.

Which Pill? Any advice?
I made the tough decision to stop trying for a baby and go back on the pill as I couldn't stand my monthly endo pain anymore. However the pill I was given, Gedarel, is making me bleed all the time, there's no pain but it's a pretty crappy side effect. Microgynon did the same. When I took Femodette I

Finally a diagnosis, it's endometriosis :(
Hello all! I am a new member but I have been reading up on various posts before I decided to join officially. I received a diagnosis for endometriosis on Thursday this week. This came about after having years of generalised seemingly unrelated symptoms, including unusually painful periods, severe ibs

Possible Urinary Endometriosis
Hi all, Long and complicated story about diagnosis and an operation but basically I don’t think it helped. I have cerebral palsy and have had since birth but what I didn’t see coming was when I started off with heavy periods from the age of 13 and my GP started me on Mefanamic Acid which didn’t help

Side effects to pill
Quick intro; endo and adhesions on appendix, ovaries, p.o.d, bladder and uterus. After years of just pain management due to ttc, which resulted in a beautiful IVF baby boy, I've decided to try the pill to hopefully avoid periods all together. I'm reluctant to go down this route as when I took the pill

10 years of undiagnosed pain, please help
After a few more years I also started taking contraceptive pill
Femodene
which really seemed to help. However 2 years ago I started getting migraines and was immediately taken off of the
Femodene
and the pain has come back ten fold. It is like clockwork every month 7-8 days after ovulation.

Keep safe in the Sun
Chemotherapy treatments can cause your skin to be more sensitive to the sun that usual. Please take care. Nearly any chemotherapy agent (or non-cancer-related medications as well) may cause you to be more sensitive to the sun. It’s important to talk with your oncologist about your particular medications

So frustrating.....bit of a rant, soory
After trying Femodette and it not working (2 wks of breakthrough bleeding) Lucy has now been put on Yasmin, however she has now started vomiting due to the pain. Today, after a 4 month wait, we have seen the consultant, who in January suggested she would put her on the list for a laproscopy....however
