Yes it is a sub total hysterectomy when the cervix is left.

You can also have just your ovaries removed, and they leave your womb intact, which I guess you would count as a partial hysterectomy. Its called an oophorectomy.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy... removal of uterus & cervix. They left 1 exsisting fallopian tube and my ovaries. This is not a total hysterectomy so I guess it could be called a partial hysterectomy in a way.

Yes I'm having subtotal hysterectomy in 13 days aged 29, having uterus, one ovary both fallopian tubes removed open surgery. X
