Femodene??

So a couple days ago I went to go see my GP to update her on what a gynaecologist had said about me having IBS and not endo. She was horrified at the things he said about trying a diet and more exercise even though I had mentioned it caused me extreme pain. She is almost 100% convinced I have endometriosis and is referring me to a different hospital to help me find a doctor that will do surgery on me.

She has also put me on Femodene birth control as I have been struggling to find a pill that works for me. She said that if this pill works it’ll be another indication of endometriosis. Has anyone else been on this pill and has it helped?

You have an amazing GP, she sounds caring and proactive. Hope it doesn’t take long. 😊

Can’t help with femodene, sorry. Tried something end last year which helped calm hormones.

Thank you, it been such a struggle to find a doctor to believe me I’m just glad I’m now getting somewhere.

Know that feeling 🤣, I’m still not convinced they do as they keep dragging their feet.

Don’t let her get away, I think there’s many that would be a little jealous, I am😀

Hey 👋🏻 I haven’t been on this particular pill. However I do have the mirena coil which relieves my symptoms of endo immensely. Maybe this is something you could try if you don’t get on with the pill. So hope everything gets sorted out for you. Keep hanging in there. Xx😌

Hi! Yes I’m on femodene and it has helped immensely. I take 3 packs back to back and then have a week break. I get pain just around my period mainly so the fact I have fewer now is a relief and also it has reduced the pain when it does come. I have bladder and bowel endo so not sure if it would help other types but I’m so glad I’m on it while I wait for further surgery. I hope it helps you too.

Thank this is exactly what I wanted to hear 😂 I’m doing the same, taking three months worth back to back while I wait for surgery.
