Overwhelmed. Is this endo related? Bowel issues

I was diagnosed with endometriosis 4 years ago and had diathermy. It took me a while to recover but my symptoms improved a lot and I would say they have generally been mild the last 3 years. In the last few months I’ve been having a lot of problems though - regular nausea, sometimes vomiting in the early hours of the morning, lower left or right abdominal pain during bowel movements sometimes, feeling uncomfortably full and/ or nauseous after eating, change in bowel habits (producing a lot and of different shape/ consistency), lots of gas in my stool, fatigue. I’ve had blood tests for the fatigue because that’s been going on for longer and they don’t show any issues. Does this sound like this could be a recurrence of endometriosis?

Yes this sounds like it could be related. Unfortunately changing your diet will most probably help. Maybe start by eliminating foods see how you go then slowly 1 at a time reintroduce. This Way you will know if it’s that particular food that is irritating your Endo. Also ask to see a gynaecologist who might be able to give you some advice and maybe get a scan to see if there’s any inflammation. Or if there’s something else going on with your stomach. I had this in my early 20s and was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. Now I’m 41 and was diagnosed last year with endometriosis. This has made me realise that I’ve had endometriosis for a long time and has always been the cause of my stomach bowel issues. I eliminated foods in my early 20s and that helped massively, I haven’t had dairy for years and I try not to eat a lot of wheat. one of the main things for me is acid so peppers lemons etc really aggravate my stomach. But in the last year and a half it has become really sensitive again, and due my second laparoscopy in August. Hope this is some help, feel free to private msg me. All the best..

Yes it could be the return of Endo but everyone is different. It's a shame us ladies were designed with all our bits in the same area! My Gynae said to me to go back and see him if I had further probs or different symptoms. I did twice over the course of 6 years. Suggest you do the same list all the symptoms that are worrying you and I am sure he/she will act accordingly. Take care

I have recently been getting worse stomach problems and headaches- not sure if taking Anadin Extra is making things worse? Took 6 tablets spaced over 12 hours and woke with the worst stomach pain and watery diarrhoea (sorry for details) but am worried will try and cut right down but no other tablets help with migraine and can’t take anti inflammatory ones - I have had two laparoscopic surgery for Endo and also lining of womb removal 3 years ago - but problems back even though only slight periods? Any advice or similar problems for others? Very low Thankyou
