Hello everyone,

I haven’t been on here for a while, hope your all well and staying safe.

Where to start..... so I finally got my referral to a centre that specialised in endometriosis and was on the Depo injection. Unfortunately that injection was not working for my so I decided to stop that and revert back to the microgynon pill.

My appointment came through and was a quick waiting time. My pill was working and I was starting to feel great, my pain had stopped been to chronic and I was exercising daily losing weight.

Unfortunately due to the circumstances my appointment has been cancelled for the time been but I wasn’t to worried as my pain was under control.

Monday morning I woke up in pain🥺 couldn’t get out of bed and was so tired with the pain, yesterday wasn’t to bad I managed to get out of bed but sit couldn’t do much, I was think maybe my pain might be getting butter but last night and today I have been in chronic pain😢

My understanding for my pain I think is down to Last week Friday, Saturday and Sunday I ate red meat.

Please can people inform how long this pain will last because I’m really struggling to cope with this😢

So sorry to hear your in so much pain because of awful endo. I have it too and have suffered with years of pain. All I can recommend is having a look at your diet. Since changing mine I have had significant less pain, practically gone. I did the AIP diet have a look on line, it really has helped me massively ♥️ I'm not saying only diet will work for you, everyone is different but for me personally, it helped massively.

Thank you so much for your response. I do believe this flare up is to do with all the red meat I have, before the 3 days of red meat my red meat intake was once a week if that, I have been eating chicken and fish.

This is an awful disease for us to live with🥺

I will definitely have a look at the AIP diet❤️

For me personally red meat is fine (organic only however) bread and potatoes is what causes my flare ups the most. So now I just eat sweet potatoes and if I do have bread (very rarely) I have gluten free. Also certain vegetables that are nightshades can cause alot of inflammation (tomatoes, peppers and aubergines for example) but yes I believe fish is the best thing for us to eat. Also try your best to avoid sugar ♥️ xxx

What made you suddenly eat red meat?red meat is a no no for endo sufferers but I can understand you just wanting to live your life and try it!endo sufferers should only eat the organic kind of red meat which where I am is only available online.you really must know that diet changes for us are for life sorry you are in pain i would guess it would reside soon x

Weekend celebrations VE Day BBQ and mince dinner on Sunday. That’s it now I no never to eat all that red meat again. I will definitely be sticking to fish and chicken.

Aww I’m

So sorry it’s so easy to be influenced as well by meat when other people are eating it .Your body could probably cope with a few mouthfuls but then it would suffer

I know it’s awful, I don’t know how other people think but I feel I’m been punished for something🥺 x
