I was diagnosed with endo in October last year and after my Op I got relief for about 5-6 months.
Since March time I have been experiencing all my symptoms again but this time around the pain is a lot worse. I believe when I had my OP in October I wasn’t treated, it was just a diagnostic op.
Please can people share their experiences after their OP and does this seem like I’m going to need another OP so soon.
Thank You. Xx

If you have felt no pain for 6 months its quite poss that there is now more Endo there but you will not know until you get to see your notes and what the Gynae actually did. Moving on did the Gynae prescribe any treatment after the op? These are importment questions to be answered before you can move on
I have got my discharge latter but I’m unsure of what it means, I was informed when I was taking to A&E last month that they didn’t treat me just diagnosed and I also have ovarian cysts.
She put me on the Contraception pill but that’s it.
I haven’t seen my Notes but are definitely will to do so. Xx
Get a copy of the notes from him or her. This is likely however you need to see your notes to know what is actually going on. What did the specialist say? This is also important too. Best of luck!
Thank you I will definitely request them. I’m due to see another specialist that specialises in endo in August. The consultant that did my diagnostic Lap said that I have got endo in between my bowel and uterus and other places, also she has cleaned my tubes out. I assumed with her saying she’s cleaned my tubes she had taken the tissue away🥺
I had mine in January and the same as you I am having worse pain than before. I am in pain right now for about 3 days. I am extremely upset because I am busy with so many other things and this pain is letting me down. I don’t know what to do. Sometimes we don’t get sympathy from people when we say we have period pain.
You mentioned something interesting,if the operation was just diagnosed not removing the tissues.
