Has anyone ever had a cyst on their pouch of Douglas that caused them to struggle to pass wind and empty bowels?

I'm really worried my cyst has grown. It was found during a laparoscopy in March 2019. I was due to have another laparoscopy this month but they cancelled it due to covid 19. Now I'm really struggling to pass wind and I'm in so much pain when I'm emptying my bowels and I'm straining a lot. Has anyone had any experience of this?

Yes I have it on my pouch of Douglas, had s laparoscopy in October last year where they removed the cells but in the last few months I feel the symptoms have come back and it sounds like the same as you.

I was meant to have my follow up consultation a couple weeks ago but obviously it has been postponed.

Its such a horrid pain isn't it? I don't quite know what to do with myself 😔 as weird as it sounds I can't wait for surgery now 😩 I just want this pain to go! I hope you don't have to wait too long for your follow up!

It is horrible! I don't know what to do about it, hopefully you get your surgery soon and it helps!

I'm hoping my follow up helps with the pain but don't know if it will...
