hi nikkinix

I have been put on zoladex without confirmed endo, I didn't even understand why my gyne had put me on it until my doctor explained that the gyne thought I might have endo

On month 3 now and all pain has stopped even pain I didn't think was related

So no extra investigations after the zoladex then? Its soo frustrating not knowing isn't it? To be fair I knew nothing about endo until I was put on this implant, I was so annoyed at my gyne for putting me on it and explaining nothing I went to her to find out what my pain was and in my mind I wanted tests to find out what it was so when she sent me away with a prescription I felt fobbed off I didn't want pain relief I wanted answers I've only been put on it for 3 months with a follow up gyne appointment next week what are your symptoms? X

You can have prostap with oestrogen only HRT for five years, might be worth a try if it comes back again!

I have just recently been advised to start on a trial of zoladex for 6 months without a laparoscopy, I saw the gynae team originally for an ectropion on my cervix and came away with an endometriosis diagnosis. I get horrendous headaches during my period, awful back pain just after my period and then the week between ovulation and my period I get shooting pains in my breasts. I have awful mood swings and anxiety towards my period and whilst on my period continue to get anxiety. My gynae told me it’s all related to the endo, which was a huge relief as I thought I was going mad!

I know what you mean! I'm only just 25. My Gynae dropped off the face of the earth back in March, granted I could still get a hold of all my other specialists during this time. He was doing my injections, and hadn't told my GP what I was having or anything, so i was 4 weeks late having my 4th injection whilst my GP tried to get the information from the hospital I was being seen at.

Thankfully my GP didn't think I was being dramatic 3 weeks ago, when I was crying with stress over not being told what was next with my treatment, and used the new system they have to get me an appointment with a brand new gynae, who wants to do a laparoscopy.
