One armpit larger than the other?

Sorry I know this isn’t endo related I just didn’t know who else to ask.

I’m 22 and give myself a breast screening every month. Breast cancer doesn’t run in my family however I suffer with major anxiety regarding my health so I like to check.

However I have never checked my armpits before until today.

I have noticed that one of my armpits is bigger than the other, it’s not necessarily a lump but it’s definitely bigger than the other, looks almost swollen?. I feel like it may have been like this my entire life but I can’t remember for sure and because of that I’m a little bit concerned.

I have added a photo which tries to show the difference I’m trying to describe. mine is not a dramatic as the photo, one armpit of mine is pretty flat and the other is in between these two photos. Please note this isn’t me so it’s not my armpit(s).

Should I be concerned and go to the doctors?

**EDIT: I forgot to mention it ONLY appears when my armpit is stretched right out like the lady in the photo. In a normal position I wouldn’t even notice it. It’s soft and I have always had a ‘raised’ armpit similar to the first pic below.

Maybe that's just the way your built we aren't symmetrical and both sides of our bodies are different if you can't feel any lumps or unusual swelling I'd say your fine but if you still feel unsure id phone the Dr and if he/she feels you need a appointment to check it he will let you know, don't worry too much xx
