Hoping someone can help me. I finished a six month course of Prostap injections (on 18-12-19) but I don't know when I am safe to start trying for a baby. I've been told different things and read different things. Right now, I understand that I need to wait three months before trying to conceive. But I don't know whether this is three months from the date of the last injection OR three months from the date the last injection wore off (15-01-20 ish). I've had two periods this month (March 2020) already... Help, please? Either way, this doesn't seem like the right time to try for a baby. I've found articles from fertility clinics trying to put women off getting pregnant right now...

I feel you; I’ve been trying to conceive for the last 2 years and literally just last month went to the gp and started tests... now I’m wondering if I should keep on with the appointments, or should I wait until this is all over. Except we don’t know when it will all be over 😬🤷🏻♀️
I guess the main thing in your situation is that you can’t start trying for 3 months right? Presumably from the date your injection wore off? So just see what the world is doing in 3 months time, and take care of yourself in the meantime ❤️ Xx
Hi Pinkyandthebrain, thanks for replying to my post. I'm really sorry to hear that it's taking so long, and that you're now starting tests in amongst all of this. Some of the advice is that appointments (of this kind) should carry on as normal, but there is a lot of different advice which contradicts that too. (I think your GP would probably call you to cancel if they thought it necessary).
Thanks for commenting about the 3 month wait. (My GP didn't explain this clearly to me). I'll wait until the 3 month window ends, which is only next month. In the meantime, I'm going to do lots of gardening as my supply work (in schools) has dried up. Look after yourself too and good luck with ttc xXx
