Anyone else get severe pain and pass blood clots after surgery even a month afterwards?

Every day or if I'm lucky every other day or so I getc really sudden cramps and shooting/stabbing pain in my abdomenand pelvis and I end up passing larger blood clots. Dr's don't seem to bat and eyelashes but it's something I'm really struggling with. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi,

Was your surgery for endo? Are you passing the clots on your first period after surgery?

After my endo/fibroid surgery the first month's period was extremely painful for me and I did pass large clots... I was concerned but when I saw my surgeon he told me it was to be expected the first period after my operation as it's debris from the operation and can take a month or so to settle.

I hope you start to feel beter soon and I would suggest if it does continue go back to see the dr's and make them listen to you... sometimes they can be not very understanding xx

Yes my surgery was for endo and I have been bleeding since the op 4 weeks ago now. Like you said they don't seem concerned but it's completely affecting me at work and I had to have my probation period extended because of being off for my op already so just feel hopeless. Thanks for replying 😊
