Does anyone else feel really tired the whole time?
Hi Lisa yes as far as I can tell it goes hand I'm hand with endo, feel like I'm sleeping my life away, and couldn't cope without power naps!which there was a painkiller we could take that instead making us drowsy gives us some energy!wishful thinking eh?xx
**wish** xx
Yes Lisa, I'm tired all the time and have only recently found out through my own investigations that this could be endo related. GP has never mentioned this. I am about to embark on a special diet to see if it makes any difference. I'll let you know if it helps. xx
Yes so so tired constantly...
Going to try magnesium and calcium supplements and get myself out...one of these days.
As far as i know light exercises such as Tai Chi and Yoga can help which again i need to try when i can actually get up and moving!

Hi. yes I am tired most of the time also. Its not good cause all I want to do is sleep and as I am tired I cant concentrate on Uni and I have an assessment due in 23 days and no where near even starting it but im trying to cope, energy drinks dont help which is not good. Just put the washing on the radiators and I feel like I have used up all the energy I had. Not good. xx
Hey lisa1984, I am constantly running on low something I have noticed from the beginning. I always feel like I have had my energy sucked out of me.
I have recently had a bad episode and only getting my energy levels back, this is the worst when you have a bad episode as you don't have a lot of energy to begin with and it takes even more out of you leaving you walking around like a zombie.
Im not the most healthiest person in the world but for me I have noticed if I increase my water intake and have a bit more red meat and fish this slightly increases my energy levels, not much, but enough to get the kids to school lol.
Have a look on internet for ways to increase energy levels, its worth a try.
Yes extremely tired, it makes both work and being a mum sometimes such a strain. It also makes me an extremely bad tempered old boot, especially when I wake in the morning still feeling the same as I did when I went to bed. I try and just push through it and get to bed as early as poss, knapping has never worked for me, not only that I wouldn't get away with it at work. Try to eat healthy, i cut out pasta and bread as much as poss as they make me even more sluggish and I have recently tried a vitamin suppliment in the mornings, not sure if its helped yet its a bit too early. But being tired and lethargic are definitely linked to Endo x x x
Yes - all the blinkin' time - even shattered when on zoladex, which eases everything else! Have to take leave at work every week to get through the week and can fall asleep anywhere, anytime. Feel like I have been punched in the eyes all day everyday (and night)! And, my husband pushes me out of bed first! Rant over! xxx
I am so glad that I logged on here and found that it isn't just me feeling so tired and drained all the time. Everything is such an effort! I am also currently wanting chocolate and lots of it? Could this be the hormones? Not sure but I do eat healthily, we buy organic fruit and veg each week. My husband is a chef so everything is freshly prepared, I eat lots of red meat and always try to include fish once or twice a week. I am awaiting a laparoscopy for chocolate cysts on my ovaries - I will be glad when surgery has taken place and I am back to feeling well again. I'm generally always on the go however everything is such a chore at the moment. This does get you down!
