Handy little card

Saw an advert for an Endo charity who give out these cards (can order them for free, I paid for them on etsy which I think gets donated) and thought it was a really good idea. The amount of times I have to try and explain to people why I'm crouched down or curled up in a corner somewhere, it's been so handy having a card I can just hand to people instead of trying to find the words while I'm mid flare, especially when I'm at work!

No idea if anyone else would find this useful, I think I like the fact that it helps raise awareness without me having to try and explain it 😂 Cost next to nothing and come in either singles, 5 or 10 I believe. Not an ad or anything, just a little tool I've found helpful on my day to day😊

Do they only have them on Etsy please? What a great idea. As you say, the number of times I've been curled up or unable to literally move trying to look (ok, not to draw attention) and in so much pain. I remember sitting in a market once on holiday, on an empty crate on the floor watching people selling tomatos maybe in bags. I was in so much pain, unable to move, and scared at the prospect of being taken to hospital as I was on holiday. People must have thought I was mad sitting there for maybe over an hour hoping that the combination of over the counter pain meds would do something. Thank you for sharing

WOW. Touch wood I’ve not had to use something like this recently but would have loved these at times when I felt the need to suddenly sit on the floor in the supermarket or when I was crying doubled on a plane getting strange looks. Thanks for sharing.
