Hey, morning all, how are you?
I'm feeling that well known exhausted / brain foggy / tired stuff. Hasn't shifted all weekend and now the usual working week starts.
What do you do to combat this tiredness / exhausted feeling? Sleep doesn't make a difference, I already do things to help me relax / calm down at the end of the day. I do exercise - although I think I may have pushed myself a bit too much last week so perhaps I'm still recovering. I'm about mid cycle, tiredness like this usually kicks a few days before my period so this isn't normal for me. I eat a healthy balanced diet, with little gluten, dairy, red meat, I avoid caffeine, don't drink or smoke, do lots of regular exercise, spend time on meditation, calming thoughts, get my usual 7-8 hours sleep. On weekend when there's not much socialising / demand on my brain and i can rest in bed until about 9am (usual working week is about 7am) I'm mostly fine. I don't fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night all too well (just a light sleeper and fidgety) unless I'm napping in blocks of about 2 hours.
Are there any vitamins / foods / supplements I could take / have which perhaps I'm missing?
