I had been given the depo injection to help with painful periods back in April (2019). I only had one shot of the injection that lasts 3 months. I saw a doctor in October regarding no return of period and they said it would certainly return within 6 months but still nothing awaiting a gp appointment but wondering if anyone has had this trouble before? GP has put me on loads of different contraception after having a lap which showed no endo but still awful pains.
Just wondering about people’s experiences with coming off the depo injection and how long it took for them to feel normal again.

Hey, I recently enquired about the injection and the family planning nurse practitioner and Dr both told me it can take 18 months for periods and fertility to normalise. As we plan to TTC in the summer I opted against!
