Hi all, been diagnosed about 8 years now and had various treatments and surgeries and diet control to manage hormones and illness. Successfully been mostly in control for a couple of years now, however my weight has been creeping up. My symptoms are starting to come back and my consultant has advised that estrogen is stored in fat - so my own weight gain is what's causing it. The problem is I struggle to maintain, let alone lose weight. I eat fairly well and exercise fairly often. I know there's no quick routes to things like weight loss, but I'm open to any suggestions or success stories if anyone can share?

Hi. I do feel for you as I know how difficult it is. When scrolling down at the end of your post, I saw a section called 'related posts' and I was thinking that maybe you could access these posts that talk of the life experience from endo PCSOS sufferers, their stories are interesting and how they coped with both conditions. Hope you find the advice and help you need. I am myself on an exclusion diet (free of gluten, dairy, soya, caffeine chocolate, brown rice, tomato purée, hot spice) that has reduced the pain but not solved the problems, sometimes I would like to have 'normal' food, but just the thought of being in pain afterwards is enough to keep me going. Good luck. 😊
