Good evening ladies ,

I’ve been suggested to take the zoely contraceptive pill (combined). I’m a bit hesitant as have been off any contraceptive pills for about 6 months due to awful side effects. I’ve tried rigivedon & Qlaira in combined , so was just wondering what experience you had with zoely?

Thankyou

Hi Lucy, Sorry I can't answer your question as I've not tried that one before but I noticed you've tried Qlaira which I might be starting in the new year in an attempt to control symptoms a bit while waiting for an appointment. Can you tell me how it effected you please?

Hi , well I don’t know if it’s just how my body reacted to Qlaira but my mood swings were out of control l. I’m such a bubbly happy person but on that I was just absolutely miserable and sad all the time . It also made no difference to my bleeding or pain so I got advised to get off it

Thanks for your reply. I got terrible mood swings on microgynon years ago not to mention acne and break through bleeding! I've felt depressed on every hormone I've tried and didn't want to go back on them. It's just born of desperation while I try and get a better treatment plan in place.
