Hi Guys I'm in need of any suggestions you have to help with my skin! I know it will never be normal due to endo but I'm fed up of looking so repulsive and just don't know what else to try :( the skin around my eyes is very red, dry and sore and my neck and hair line are covered in big spots. Sorry for the photo but if any of you lovely people can suggest anything you would be doing me a huge favour!

Hi,

I had terrible acne, nothing worked until I tried the exposed skin care range. Initially it dries the skin so start with small application then increase when you get used to it. It is definitely worth the money! I also had antibiotics for it which cleared them but I don't recommend taking these if not necessary.

Hope this helps!

I had painful and sore acne for many years. The best thing for me was to go to my GP and get a prescribed acne cream (I used Duac mainly). Alongside this, I stripped back my skincare routine to a gentle cleanser, serum, and moisturiser. I found Superdrug's own brand to be the best (they also have a 100% satisfaction guarantee so you can return the products if you dislike them!) Xx

Are you dairy free at all? Mine was due to being allergic, endo and food allergies are extremely common xx

I'm not sure, the Dr's put everything down to IBS for so many years, going to try cutting out dairy and see if that makes a difference xx

Mine started with ibs but i never get that now im dairy free. Im allergic to cows milk protein and soya milk, i had cystic acne and sinusitis for years because of it. I ended up finding out myself as my drs were crap. Worth cutting out all dairy for a month and see what happens, if anything it will help with the ibs xx

Hi. I use products from the body shop and my skin has never been better. They give you free little samples to try before you buy too. Get a good cleanser for your skin type, give a superficial cleanse then a deeper cleanse, maybe a mask and for a weekly skin treat, exfoliating facial scrub and a moisturiser for morning and night.

Hi, I’ve suffered with acne/spots relating to my hormones since I was 16 I’m 32 now. Tried every skin cleanser/cream nothing works. Over the last month my skin is the clearest it’s ever been and the redness is starting to even out, which is all down to my diet. I’ve cut out dairy completely, in drinking bottles and bottles of mineral water each day, and only eat fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. My skin care routine hasn’t changed just my diet and it has done wonders for my skin. My period is due any day now and I’ve not had one break out, normally this time of month my jaw line is full of big angry spots!

That's amazing to hear, It's such a shame you've had to change so much to have good skin! Im going to try cutting out dairy initially and go from there, thanks for your help

No problem, to be fair I cut it all out and changed my diet to help with my pain. The skin bit was just a bonus! I would definitely recommend cutting out dairy as the hormones that are pact in it our definitely not good for endo sufferers. Hope it works for you

Hyaluronic acid, chemical peels, and exfoliating pads, retinol in the winter.

I use peter thomas roth exfoliating pads and hyaluronic cloud cream, plus philosophy chemical peels 2-3 times a month. If you saw my face 6 months ago vs now!!

Biotherm is always a go to for cleanser daily, the "purifying" green bottle one seems less harsh than some other ones i have tried

After 6 months treatment

I've been using erno laszlo. It's expensive, but my skin which is already temprementle really struggled with 13 hour shifts in masks and flared up so badly. I get the products on clear pay so I'm not doing it in one chunk it's really made a difference but I still have "flushed" cheeks, which I'm assuming is because my skin isn't having time to rest and repair. Not sure what to do about that. But erno laszlo has actually changed my skin alot! I used the black seaweed bar and oil cleanser they're the most important, although I've tried a few other bits.

I really hope you contacted a professional! They can offer a lot more help than what people on this forum can say. Either way, if you use skincare you might have an allergic reaction to an ingredient used in the cream. I can recommend a firming neck cream that I personally love and use everyday with Jojoba which is an amazing ingredient which you can find here shopmaryann.com/products/ne... . Anyway, you should go take an allergy patch test.
