I had surgery for removing endometriosis on the colon, uterus a few cysts(one of them of 6.5cm). Used to have unbearable pain, was unable to work, nor to do easy tasks like washing a mug. Had laparoscopy 2 weeks ago, I was able to walk on the third day. Pain in the days after surgery was bearable, also had NO pain on my period. Had some pain first few times I sat on the throne, since they shaved endo tissue from colon, but apart from that nothing scary.
Worth mentioning: I am keeping a gluten & sugar free healthy diet. I had a day when I jumped on pastries after surgery, and I got bloated had low energy etc.
Just wanted to spread some positivity, I know some of you are worried about surgery (I know I was) and wanted to say it was not as bad as I expected.
EDIT: I also noticed my endo belly is gone.
Sending love,
Claudia xx
