Retreat for endo sufferers?

Hi

I got diagnosed with endo after 2 years and had a laparoscopy. Felt better for about 4 weeks and now everything is back and I now have additional symptoms that are making me feel at a point of despair and everything just seems to be getting worse.

I was wondering if there are any retreats for those with endo to go to that could be good for general wellness and mental health. Or perhaps someone has been to a chronic pain retreat that really helped?

I'd really like to get away and try and reset and gain some positivity back.

Thanks

Hi, I’d like to tell you how I coped with my Endometriosis. I went to a Nutritionist (which dealt with Yeast infection (Candida) and was put on a nutritional regime. Diet, vitamins and minerals with a monthly follow up. I never looked back totally pain free I felt great slept well and went through my menopause without to many problems without HRT... it was hard, but I felt I had no other option and I was against surgery

I’m going through this with my nutritional therapist. We’re now starting a restricted SIBO diet to balance my gut health. This will help my body absorb nutrients etc. I’ve done the intolerance test and came yellow for yeast so everything is pointing out for bacteria overgrowth. It’s not easy to cut so many foods. How did it go for you after the initial diet and is your diet and symptoms now?

Hi again, It’s what we eat that is causing many illnesses, the chemicals and hormones in our food even our water. My nutritionalist fasted two days a week but she would not recommend this unless you are ready for it, I believe one day a week we all could manage without a problem. I hope your new regime works for you and I wish you every success ❤️

Thank you, I’m struggling with cravings but I ha to be strong. I think fasting is easier than a restricted diet, but my nutritionist advised me not to fast for now. Thank you for your words

If you search on YouTube there’s a video about an endo sufferer who went to a retreat in Costa Rica and reversed her endo. It was a fasting retreat and she fasted for 21days or something like that. After the retreat she became a raw vegan to manage the illness. The retreat is from the author of the book 80 10 10 diet. Have a look since fasting helps heal but long fasts are not advised to be done without support.
