I've been hearing conflicting things about recto vaginal endo and was wondering if anyone could clear it up for me? As I'm concerned I may be exhibiting symptoms.
I know that there is absolutely no way to be certain about this without a laparoscopy but I will not be reviewed by my gynae for another 2 months.
I understand that it causes diarrhea/constipation and the pain that comes with this but I thought that this was 'normal' for endo sufferers anyway?
I also understand that it could cause vaginal pain/swelling, however would this also depend on whereabouts your endo is?
I do not have blood in my poo (I understand that this can be a main symptom) and I do have the symptoms mentioned above.
Anyone who can clarify symptoms for me would be a huge help as I've heard so many conflicting things!

Hi, I have rectovaginal endo, I was diagnosed a few years ago, my rectum is attached to my vagina and cervix . I guess everyones symptoms can be different, for me my stools are normal but it causes a lot of pain when passing them it’s hard to explain the pain but it is inside really low down ( coccyx area and lower ) I don’t get this any other time other than around my period. I have other symptoms such as really painful period cramps and discomfort during sex but I don’t get any vagina swelling or blood in my stools, but like I said everyone’s symptoms can differ.
