Who else gets pain in privates?

A sensitive topic but I'm desperate to know, does anyone else experience pain in their vagina as a result of their endo?

I haven't had surgery to confirm the presence of endo but from my many various symptoms (before I went on the pill without regular breaks my periods changed from normal to over 3 weeks at times and I had extreme pain in my lower back). My symptoms have thankfully improved somewhat but I still get some pain most of the time, but it's the pain in my genitals that makes me worry a lot because it doesn't seem to be mentioned much by others and I'm wondering how common it is and what this could indicate about the presence of the endo if it's there. The pain is a burning sensation and I get some swelling and at times extreme itchiness. I'm especially worried because I have bowel problems related to my cycle too with similar symptoms in that region as well as switching between constipation and the opposite and I read that rectovaginal endometriosis is one of the most severe forms and even without having had surgery I seem to have symptoms of that kind. If anyone has similar experiences or can offer some information about this I would be so grateful thanks in advance.

Hi I have stabbing pains in my vagina like some one stabs me with a knife then drags it upwards. Makes sitting painful at times. I have rectovaginal Endo so have to be seen at a specialist centre. You need a referral if you haven’t had one and the lap to confirm it. I do physical therapy to help with pain but not yet found a way to help the bowel problems. X

Thanks for your info! I am still pushing for a referral, I last saw a gynae a few months ago who told me i must wait and see how I get on with the pill but my symptoms only got bad earlier this year.

I have a swollen feeling all the time lately in my vagina and have suffered with constipation for years. I have rectovaginal endometriosis so awaiting for surgery
