Out of curiosity...

When my pain is at its absolute worse I get this overwhelming urge to push (as if I was in labour!) has anyone else had this? If anyone has had this and also had a diagnosis did docs ever explain a reason for this?

I do feel like I’m in labour when it’s really bad, o got myself a medipen which helps cbd look into it for the pain x I’m unsure why it happens but mine has drifted to my liver and kidneys so no hope of surgery, I have to find best ways for pain relief , I really do think it’s something to do with having kids ? That’s when mine started, after my second child it was unbearable.

Hey. Sorry to hear this. Mine has never been so bad I’ve felt the need to push in the same way I did during labour

But I think it makes sense in a way I can’t quite articulate. It might be to do with where adhesions seems growing and how the brain interprets this

My pains often feel like labour contractions. Maybe there is something in that: how the mind prepares/processes what is happening.

Hi I feel I have labour pains and need to push, it’s a weird feeling that’s very hard to describe. I have had no children. Not sure why endometriosis causes the need to push but I often get it when bleeding heavy so it’s maybe the bloody trying to escape 🤢

Your body is trying to push the tissue out and the uterus might be contracting more to make that happen, mistaking it for endometrial tissue that can't get out.

Do your body a favour and remove the tissue with advanced excision surgery with a highly skilled and trained specialist. Do PM me if you need names of endo excision specialists working within the NHS

I get that sometimes. My current gynaecologist seemed unconcerned/unsurprised and confirmed it is what happens when a cyst bursts. It was a part of the symptoms list I went over with her in my initial appointment over a year ago.
