Doubting myself

This may sound silly, but after years of my gynaecologist telling me all these excuses for my pain, then he finally found the endo and removed it.

I went back 4 months later, the pain had come back

He told me it couldn’t have grown back that quick as I’m on the pill..

now he’s telling me it’s my bowel.

Has anyone else been told that it’s not endo so much that you start to believe it? I’m doubting myself and doubting knowing my own body.

I had something very similar happen but not in such a short timescale, I was booked for an exploratory lap to see what was going on as I was having bad pain and bowel issues, a week before the surgery I ended up being admitted into hospital and it turns out I have Crohn’s.. I’m not saying this is what is wrong with you but it’s worth asking your GP for a referral to check out your bowel.

After years of fighting Endo with ablation every 6-8 months, it went into my bowels and caused terrible pain like I’ve never felt before. It’s one of my most horrible places you can have Endo as its a pain in bum. However do get it checked out for any other gremlins. Sending soft fluffy hugs. 🤗
