Anyone had moviprep for colonoscopy

How did you feel? I’m starting Monday and colonoscopy on Tuesday ?

Yes dear I did . It’s a very chalky flavoured liquid . And then within half an hour your heel should move and you would go a few times . So stay close to 🚽 . And after a few goes it will automatically stop and you are all ready . Just follow the instructions on the medication

Ok and what was your colonoscopy like?

U don’t feel it as they would sedate you . Just a bit of tightness when u are in ur lower abdomen which shall pass in a day as pass some gas when they manoeuvre the camera inside for a better picture

Nope don’t worry everything will be out with those medication

Bowel prep is not the best experience and I got myself really anxious about it. Turns out it weren’t as bad as I thought, yes I spent from about 5pm till about 1am on and off the toilet but I just accepted that it was gonna happen and got on with it. Make up some jelly (not blackcurrant or red coloured ones) so u can put something in your belly to help the hunger feelings.

The colonoscopy wasn’t that bad either, I doubt u will poop cause u will have pooped everything out the day before at worst a bit of air might come out lol xxxx Good luck and try to relax about it x
