I had laparoscopy with resection of endometriosis 10weeks ago, stage 4. I’ve had 2 periods since then. I’m just on day 4 of my 2nd period and I’m bleeding so much heavier that I did before my op. Bright red pain, some clots, a little pain but a lot less severe than I had pre-op. But the flow is so much heavier. We are trying for a baby now too.
Did anybody have anything similar?
Thanks so much xx

Me!! My consultant was honest & admitted it wouldn’t improve my periods (which were like yours mine made me anaemic) only using pill etc would do that but like you I wanted to conceive but he did say hopefully the surgery would improve my fertility( had been TTC 7 years then & had a early miscarriage year which followed 2 more ops for endo) I fell 2nd cycle of trying & had my daughter in June this year.
I hope this can offer hope.
The anti inflammatory diet eased the bowel symptoms I also took bed propolis very healing, used progesterone cream & took baby aspirin until my BFP when I took progesterone pessaries & low dose steroids for my raised nk cells till I was 12 weeks which I believe kept my daughter safe.
Good luck I hope the surgery had done the trick & you fall soon xxx
Hi, I'm. Almost 8 weeks since laparoscopy and endemetriosis lazered off. I've just had my second period which was pretty sore but not as bad as excruciating pains I've had before . Both periods were really heavy. I was hoping my body was just settling and insides healing after op but I'm not sure. I'm also trying to conceive but don't think it's going to happen x
