i’m 15 years old, every day of the month i get extreme pelvic pain and painkillers and it is making my life very difficult. i have been put on the pill, which isn’t making a difference to the pain. do you think i have endometriosis?

Possibly but there are loads of things this could be. I would go to your GP and get referred to a gynaecologist for testing x

I agree, go to a GP and ask if it could be Endometriosis. You know when you aren't right, remember that okay?

In the mean time. Heat pads, hot water bottles! Paracetamol and ibuprofen. Take time for yourself, have some self care in place when you aren't feeling well.

Do you have anyone you can talk to? Any women in your life? Have a sit down and talk about how you are feeling.

Here if you need anything, we all are. Take care x

Hi,

I'm sorry you are experiencing so much pain. I think you should go to your GP and let them know the pills have no effect. Do you feel this pain all month long or is it worse during your periods? Do you feel pain during urination or bowel movement?

Ask to be referred to an endometriosis specialist or gynaecologist to investigate further.

I dont know if its endo, but people find relief from making some dietary changes even before they are diagnosed.

You could try excluding dairy, sugar and gluten from your diet for a week each and see if it helps.

Hope you feel better soon and please remember you are never alone in this. We are all here for you.

i don’t really eat that kind of thing anyway for various reasons. the pain is throughout the month and much worse on periods. thanks for the help :)
