Worried about first lap

My gynaecologist is an endo specialist. I’ve been having issues for years and last year had my appendix out due to pain but it turned out to be fine. The general consultant suspected endo and said I had a lot of scar tissue in my womb- that resembled having a c section. They removed it and 3 months later I was in a lot of pain so went back to the GP.

Fast forward 18 months and I’m awaiting my first lap but this keeps being postponed. I’m having such bad anxiety that they will open me up and find nothing. I had an MRI in January and it picked up that I had adenmyosis and a haemorrhaging ovary??? Never heard of that. I just fear that nothing will be there and I’ll be left in pain with no answers.

Any advice ladies or stories of anything similar x
