Endometriosis and cysts

I am in so much pain! I have endometriosis on my bowel and I have cysts on my ovaries. My ovaries are stuck together. I have endometriosis in my rectum, the back of my vagina, I am in so much pain it’s awful. Anyone have any ideas how to ease this pain. I am seeing a specialist to possibly have bowel surgery; a hysterectomy and my ovaries removed. Someone please give me a bit of comfort

Hiya, so sorry to hear what you're going through. In my experience the only wasy to deal with it is by giving in to the pain. Take as strongest pain relief you have, hot baths followed by hot water bottles and try to rest. Take lot's of deep breaths and get in a comfy position for you. Eventually the pain will subside and try to take comfort in the fact that you are being taken seriously by doctors who will perform surgery which will ease your pain. Really hope your your nightmare comes to an end soon, it can only get better. X

My tummy is so tender today. I have a 14 week old baby too so it’s hard to rest . I’m hoping it can get sorted ASAP

I’m so sorry you are in so much pain; trying to manage that and look after your little one must be tough.

Your post kinda echoes my experience with endo although I’ve found the only position I can get any sort of rest in is a V - lower back and feet propped up high. Looks uncomfortable to most but much better than laying straight.

Baths and hot water bottles are quite helpful but if you can get hold of those snap heat pads I find they help in the most tender areas.
