I'm recovering from a diagnostic lap which confirmed that I have stage 4 endometriosis with adenomyosis. My ovary and uterus are stuck to my bowels, and I have an obliterated pouch of douglas.
My doctor wants to meet me soon to discuss my options; he said we should decide whether I should go for ongoing pain management, or more serious surgery. I don't know the specifics about either of these yet, but I'm trying to get as many perspectives as possible. I'd really like to hear what treatments you have all had, and how they improved things for you. Thank you!

Is your surgeon a bsge gynecologist? You can Google bsge and check on their website. In the UK stage 4 should only be treated by these gynecologist, they have additional training and work closely with colorectal surgeons (who deal with the bowels etc)
During your lap was any endometriosis removed? If so do you know how ie excision or ablation?
