Has anyone been diagnosed with a fibroid on the ovary? Can they be removed? No appt until Aug to talk to someone about these findings.

Hi Endojaz this is my first post on here but have had a lap and hysterectomy for endo 2 weeks ago , they also removed my left ovary and tube due to "multiple polyp like structure". I know it's not the same as a fibroid but it's a bit similar and mine were definitely not cysts, I'm at a loss as to what these things were but will have to wait for my for follow up apptmnt in July. Anyone with any info of polyps or fibroids on ovary o would be very grateful . Wishing you well Endojaz and hope your pain isn't too bad .

It’s all so confusing. Sounds like u have been thru it. Hopefully you will recover well and be free from pain. I had a hysterectomy 2 yrs ago but my ovaries were left in as I was 41.. pain continued so now waiting to talk to consultant about removing them. Just worried about menopause and all that brings 🙄

Yes it's very confusing, and having to wait until the next apptmnt to get some proper information frustrates me no end.i don't blame you worrying about the menopause just hope whatever they do for you eases your pain , such a cruel and misunderstood disease. Take care x
