So, I had my lap for a tubal removal and endo burned. They biopsy something and finish what they're doing... I come out of surgery with the pain from the gas/etc...i am kept until about 10pm that night. My surgery was done by 230pm. I can't stand without help, can't hardly move without feeling sick. I go home on their orders. I get up worse the next day and have to be rushed by ambulance back to hospital. Come to find out I have internal bleeding ALL night. Needed an emergency surgery to remove the blood clot or whatever was in there. I lost half my blood volume. I should be dead. I'm super freaking traumatized by this. I've only been home since this past monday. I was given 4 units of blood. How do i deal with this? Anyone else have a similar ending to a laparoscopy?

Post laparoscopy feelings
That is awful! I haven’t had my lap yet and prettified of getting it done! Wishing you a speedy recovery! I would really focus on eating well and ensuring you get enough iron and b vitimins...esp B12. I would also recommend once you are back on your feet go and speak to a councillor to process what is happened x
You poor thing that is so frightening, no wonder you're traumatised. I don't know if they have it at your hospital but maybe try and see if there is PALS (patient liaison service) or someone to talk to you about what happened (I had this after a traumatic birth) and some kind of counselling so you can work through your feelings. You really need a listening and sympathetic ear, hope your friends/family are looking after you xx
How awful, just take it easy and look after yourself. As MelonMelon says maybe speak with PALS at the hospital. X
