That's ridiculous, horrible response from hospital. See if you can get a second opinion with someone that is specialized in Endo.

Hi Katielou,

Really sorry to hear you received such an unsupportive and disheartening response. If you were diagnosed with endometriosis after a laparoscopy then that should have been sufficient to take your worries seriously; there is a concerning lack of awareness (even by some of the most skilled GPs and hospitals) about endometriosis. If you haven't already done so, it might be worth requesting to see your medical file to ascertain the exact nature of its contents and use the specific results to fuel your next steps for securing better medical support. It might also be good to research your nearest endo specialist clinic/practitioners in your area and request that your GP/Endometriosis UK(?) provides a referral letter to show your GP/hospital. To be honest I am not entirely sure if this is a service the charity offers but it is definitely worth namedropping that you have sought guidance from credible endo expert sources as this may encourage the right people to listen and help further support into arranging a more indepth investigative scan and working out what is happening in your body. Not sure if this was helpful but please don't lose heart when faced with dismissive doctors - there is still a lot of awareness raising to achieve around this condition but fighting for answers will always lead to better care and treatment that will hopefully make you feel better in the long run. :) x
