Lap follow up appointment

Has anyone else not been given a follow up appointment after their laparoscopy. After the surgery I was told I had a diagnosis of endo and they removed some of the inflammation but then sent me on my way with nothing else.

Hey, I had to get PALS involved to chase up my follow up appointment with my gynae. It’s normally around a couple months after but mine ended up taking 6 months before I saw him.

PALS will be able to look into it for you and help find you an appointment xx

Both times, I had to call and book a follow up 5-6 weeks post op with my doctor. I don’t think they normally make the appointment for you.

I would call for a follow up, I wasn't given any information on discharge other than endo was there and removed and there was cysts on my ovaries, otherwise nothing. I was given a letter with a date for a follow up that was 8 weeks after surgery so it could be that one could come in the post but it won't do any harm to chase it up
