Pain after laparoscopy

Hi ladies.

I am now 3 weeks post laparoscopy. I’ve healed really well I went back to work after 4 days. I can move/ walk do things as normal. However, on the right side of my pelvis, where my ovary would be I suspect, I keep getting sharp pains. They come and go. Don’t feel like period pains. This pain doesn’t go anywhere else and just sticks. It feels more sharp rather than an ache.

Anybody felt this before?

Hi there

I had my lap 2 and a half weeks ago, and recovered well too, but I’m having the exact same thing. Very short sharp pains (like some sticking a needle in then pulling it out) but all over the place in my lower abdomen in random places. Nothing too drastic though, just a bit sharp. I’m thinking that even though I feel ok in myself my insides are still healing. Seem to be worse when I’ve been active and they aren’t as bad if I rest. I think it’s my body telling me to take it easy still.

Maybe keep an eye on it and if it gets worse contact a GP. Hope it clears up for you.

I have similar sometimes, I'm almost 3 months post surgery and have these pains all over my pelvis and hips randomly. My consultant didn't seem concerned but definitely keep an eye on it and see a GP if it doesn't reduce
