Feeling exhausted

Hi, this is my first post here.

I'm feeling exhausted lately and seems to be worse the week before my period. Pains are horrendous and doesn't help with the feeling of fatigue.

Does anyone else feel worse with fatigue/exhaustion around this time? I really don't know what to do and it's so hard to focus and concentrate at work, many days I just want to come home and sleep which interrupts with other things I have on after work. The last 6 months or so I've have to reduce the amount of things I do in the evenings. I really don't know what to do to get my energy levels up! Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi there

I am sorry you are feeling so bad. The tiredness and lack of energy can be worse than the pain.

I have read that fatigue can be a symptom of endo but it may also be worthwhile seeing you GP just to check if you are anaemic as well.

Good luck

x

Yes really bad leg pain. It's agony. One of the worse places I get pain. I've always had severe pain in my legs on my periods. Other symptoms have come on more recently in the last few years. X

Hi,

I know how you feel especially with the extreme fatigue. I’ve just been put onto iron tablets twice a day last week. My iron was so low. Baring in mind I’ve had lots of problems with my periods being heavy and had them for 50days straight so no wonder I was anaemic. I’ve seen a gynaecologist and had scans etc. I’ve got a very thick lining of the uterus but nothing else untoward but they found a cyst on my left ovary which I’m having checked again in two weeks.

I hope you get some answers. It’s awful what we have to go through! :(
