Hey lovelies! I had my lap in March where they found endometriosis around my womb and adhesions on my bowel. Treatment was carried out there and then, however pain returned after just 2 weeks and has remained since π Ive been back to see the consultant who has prescribed me Provera to try for 90 days which will simulate the early stages of pregnancy in the hope it will reduce the symptoms and manage pain. Has anybody else tried this and found it helped? I feel nervous reading up on it but willing to try anything at the moment to help get rid of the horrible pain and fed up of feeling rubbish all the time!
Xx

I think just give it a go! I haven't personally tried that one yet π I have been on Zoladex which does the opposite, just gives me chemical menopause. I had the same thing when I had my surgery, within six weeks a whole clutch of cysts returned so I was willing to give anything a go to avoid another operation.
When you read up about things everyone puts up negative stuff, people don't just share the stuff that is working well, so I think take all that with a pinch of salt, everyone's bodies react differently to these things, so you don't know till you try. Make sure you update me on how you get on? And I hope it works a treat for you xx
Hey Harriet, thank you for your message π you are completely right, you do find a lot of negatives online but saw some positives too so fingers crossed it works for me! So sorry to hear yours returned so quickly too, the treatment you are receiving was also an option I was given but this one was the recommended for me to try initially, how are you finding it? Has it helped you? I started the treatment 3 days ago and have been feeling very sick since but know itβs going to take a few weeks to settle down so hopefully will start to feel better soon! I will keep you posted on how it goes π
The Zoladex was really tough to get into, as I always suffered with migraines on the first days of my period when my levels dropped off, so the zoladex imitated that for quite a while, after month three it was great! No pain no symptoms it was lovely but I could only do it for six months.
I really hope it all settles down for you and it works x
