Help!!!

Started my prostap injections 7 days ago and really feeling the negative effects now. My emotions are so out of control I feel depressed, overwhelmed and honestly lost. It’s altered my thoughts and the way I feel in general, mainly for the worse.

I was seen by my specialist who strongly advised at least 6 months on Prostap to “minimise the risk of surgery” due to the extensiveness of my endo.

I already suffer with depression/anxiety which feels like it’s been turned up to max volume. My other symptoms seem to have gotten worse too like hot flushes, nausea, abdominal & back pain

Just really fed up and having been only a week in, really struggling to stay positive and see how I’m gonna get through this 😢

Hi! I wondered how you were after 6 months on Prostap?

I have huge fibroids ans started my injections last Thursday, 6 days ago to try and shrink them over 4 months. I am 41 and in Okish health except for the fibroids (12x10cms, 13x11 and a few smaller ones)

I was told I wont feel any bad side effects until aftet the secons injections in 4 or so weeks. But, today very very suddenly sitting on the train home I got very bad pain in my right collarbone also shooting down my arm. It really hurt the whole journey home and I could not get comfy. I have taken ibuprofen and Deep Heat role, which has helped a little but its still hurts. I have never had this before so wondered if it was the prostap?

What were your side effects the first month or so or issues you think were related to the prostap injections? I am dreading the next few months and worry I have gone from ill health because of fibroids to this pain! Many thanks!
