Medical cover for pre existing conditions

After my awful experience on nhs I am looking for some medical cover that will cover pre existing conditions as I now want to go private. Does anyone or is anyone with a company which cover endometriosis?

Thank you

I have the same question! The wait I’m facing for my diagnostic lap is awful because no one is telling me anything - the admin at my hospital is honestly terrible because I get told nothing and have to nag to get the simplest info. Would love to go private but too expensive when you earn £3.90 an hour as an apprentice working for the NHS 😅

I feel your pain! Although I paid for a private endo specialist for the internal scan and he confirmed I had endo and would need a laproscopy to remove it. The operation private was so expensive so I ended up going on the nhs, worst decision I’ve made! Had my operation on Wednesday (bear in mind that the specialist sent his findings to my gp and nhs) - they completely ignored his findings and when I woke up they told me they found no endo and only retrograde menrustration. Still in so much pain and have now got an infection. I’m waiting to heal up and then going to try and find a way to afford another op privately

That’s absolutely awful! It’s disgusting that you’ve paid the money to be seen privately and been given some form if diagnosis to have that ripped away purely because you can’t afford a private op - not many people can with how expensive it is!

I hope you feel much better soon and can then get some proper answers xx

Most of them I have looked at want you to have not had symptoms for up to 5 years to cover you for anything pre-existing. Or to go through a period of two years when you first sign up without any issue before they will cover you. If you do find one that will cover without these exclusions I would be interested!
