Hi everyone

Well I have had PCOS from about 17 yrs old have never had exceptionally heavy flow -when I actually had one. Always had quite bad back pain but was made to believe this was women’s lot so to speak and I should just grin and bear it . This did improve somewhat with the pill but side effects after a few years made me discontinue taking them . I’m 46 now and have 2 kids . I got severe SPD during my first pregnancy and also suffered a heavy fall on my back . After that 10 yrs now menstrual back pain has become gradually worse and worse each time . I had an MRI on my back around 18 months after 2nd pregnancy . And then they couldn’t find anything. In 2015 I complained to my new Gp about worsening back pain , pelvic pain and extreme fatigue at times and a constant feeling of cold . I had a trans/ vag ultrasound and they said I had a small cyst but nothing to worry about. I continued with painkillers and it’s just got worse over last 18 months . The pain is almost completely seizing up my right leg from hip to toe . I have to take 2 x paramol n 1 ibuprofen every 2 to 3 hours to cope . It lasts around 6 to 7 days . The last2 months I have experienced awful stitch like rib pain mostly left side and also acute breast pain in left side where I have non cancerous lump . Last month the pain was so bad in my right leg and an acute pain started up when I put pressure or bent my left knee . I was terrified I was getting a blood clot as had one with 2nd pregnancy n rushed to A &E . They couldn’t find anything and when period ended so did all the pain , except a bit of the knee pain still lingered . Now it’s all starting up again . My neck collarbone and shoulders were painfully stiff and I felt as though breathing was restricted (I am asthmatic )mostly on left side and rib pain started I thought it strange so I googled rib pain around period and it led me here . And now it seems it is all possibly connected to both sciatic and diaphragmatic endometriosis. . I’ve also over the years suffered periods of ridiculous urinary frequency and pelvic pain and been told I didnt have UTI or cystitis. But I always got fobbed off with antibiotics for years until became allergic to many of them . No investigation into this was ever made . It still happens from time to time but I use d- mannose for tat .
