Hi everyone, I was just wandering if anyone els has this problem? I'm currently on the microgynon 30 pill which I take continuously for 3 months to help regulate my periods and to prevent having to go through period pains every month. My Dr told me doing this should help with the pain but I have noticed I still get all the symptoms I get with a period every month just without the bleeding. My symptoms including pelvic pain, painful sex, fatigue, IBS sort of problems, back pain and sciatica. I have also been getting nose bleeds which is a bit random and not sure if it's anything to do with this though.
Even though I'm currently not on my period I feel awful and looking at my diary it would normally be the time of my period if it wasn't for the pill. I have been takin gmefenamic acid as a pain killer but it hasn't helped today and I'm feeling a little down because I had plans of going out for the weekend that I have had to cancel along with work.
Sorry about the little moan at the end. I would be interested in hearing other people's experiences with the pill? Xxx

Hey! I’m on loestrin20 pill just now and I’m taking it continuously and I’m having a similar situation to yourself that I’m getting pain even though I’m having no period for 3 months! Twinges and cramps as well as back and leg pain 😭 hope you find a solution. Xx
I was advised to take my pill continuously so I was on it for 5 months and still had the most awful pains! I felt like being on the pill and putting more hormones in my body made it worse for me.
You poor thing! Sometimes I feel like that. The problem is that if I come off the pill I have one massive bleed that lasts for months :/ so I don'treally know what's best anymore. X
Hi. I'm on Femodene, and take 2 or 3 packets back to back, which I've been doing since I was diagnosed in 2006. It helps that I don't have so many periods, but I still get symptoms while I'm on the pill. I've recently started getting pain in my left side/hip regularly on the first week of the pill (even if I haven't had a break between packs). Currently waiting for an appointment with my gynae to see what's going on as it's a new weird pain I haven't had before! I take Naproxen if the pain gets too bad and try to stick to a gluten and dairy free diet, which I find helps. Hope you find something to help! x
Hi Suzi, reading this brings back so many memories for me because it’s what happened every time I tried taking any kind of hormonal birth control. Still in agony but without the blood?! It makes no sense but every time I took ‘the pill’ it felt like I had loads of blood building up side me and I had a feeling that I just had to come off it to get rid of that built up feeling 😬
