Another shot of Prostap?

Hi Ladies,

I’m due to have my second shot of Prostap in April but not sure what to do. I suffered with heavy periods for nearly 20years before I had an albation and nova sure in June last year. It completely stopped my periods but In November I started suffering awful cramps and pains along with a burning sensation. Sex was extremely painful too. After lots of gp appointments I was referred and given a 3monthly dose of Prostap. I felt rough for a few days but it helped with the pain, I’m now pain free. Although as time has gone on I’ve started to get headaches, really cold and I’m so tired and grumpy ALL the time. I have also had 2bouts of thrush since I had the injection in January. I took the add on HRT but that made me feel worse so I stopped taking it on gp’s advice. My consultant won’t give me a hysterectomy yet (not sure why, I’m 31 and have had my family) but I’ve heard the symptoms get worse the more injections you have. Not sure if I want to put myself and family through another 3months of utter grumpiness!

Any other ideas?
