So I’m having partial hysterectomy Monday. My adenomyosis was spotted first through mri for endo and then again during lap I had in July. I had stage 4 endo with about 4 hours of surgery. My pain continues so they advise I have a hysterectomy as it’s obvious I have adenomyosis and it is likely to be the cause of the pain. However over the past year the pain has increased yet my actual period has become lighter and shorter, has anyone else had this?

Hi I have adenomyosis my period is normal every 28 days but the pain is 10 times worse on my period then every other day, I've just been referred for a hysterectomy the pain is awful I take zapain painkillers that only take the edge off but I've just bought a tens machine which helps alongside the painkillers gives me a good pain free hour or so, I just hope it works when I come on 🤞 as I've only had it two days ☺️
