I had 2 Endometriosis operations in last 2 years, late last year the pain came back. I decided not to go with specialist anymore, i know their advice is more operations or take birth control pills which i strongly against it. After the second operation my body felt so weak i get sick easily. I know more operations would make more harm than good. Since then i started self healing journey, i have cut down most of carbohydrate and meat, no diary, in the morning i have a big glass of fruit & vegetables smoothie( home made -load of fresh seasonal fruits and some veg like kale, avocado & carrots). Lunch time salads and dinner veg & a little bit meat / fish and rice. I also started intermittent fasting ( this method allow to give your body time to heal pls do research online)&coffee enema occasionally(liver detoxification you can do research online as well) . it s been 2 month my pain had subsided and i rarely notice any pain anymore. This is SO EXCITING, in the past i would have pain 3-4 times a week, i cant sleep i cant work i cant doing anything. The only pain i got at the moment is my 2nd day period pain(i still take 2 pain killer).Other than that NO PAIN. I truely believe food has true healing power. I wish more and more endo suffer would realise - pain killer cant help you in a long run.Your body crying to get your attention - "im in pain please heal me". However we just loaded medicine to mask it rather than treat it. Please dont take the short cut to treat the pain but rather invest sometime to properly treat it. Also pray to God and ask him to give you wisdom to deal with this pain. I hope you get all feel better soon.

You do realise that you won't get rid of your endometriosis like this? You may be removing inflammatory triggers but it's not going to go away. And your liver doesn't need detoxification, it does that by itself. Glad you have sorted your pain, though xx

That’s brilliant news! Good for you. I agree it’s benenfial to find a lifestyle that helps endometriosis.

I have had 2 operations myself and I found they took their toll not just physically but also mentally & emotionally.

I also have to agree about birth control. I appreciate they help with pain but for me it masked a lot of symptoms which only surfaced when I came off the pill.

Really pleased to hear things have improved for you. It’s nice to read a positive story xx
